2. Condensed AP Calculus BC class (Online class, open for enrollment now)

Start Date: February 8, 2026 or choose a later start date that suits you
End Date: concludes on May 31, 2026, for students attending one class per week. Students have the option to complete the course by May 31, or extend it until July 15, 2026, in time for Dr. Tang’s F=ma/AP Physics C Mechanics class.

Total classes: 17

Format: Pre-recorded video lectures

Prerequisites: Pre-calculus or Algebra II AND at least AP Physics 1 from Tang Academy.

This class focuses on limits, differentiation, integration, as well as applications of these concepts. It is the prerequisite for Dr. Tang’s USA Physics Olympiad F=ma Exam Calculus-based preparation class, AP Physics C E&M class, and USAPhO 2nd round preparation class..

*** New format: This course specifically designed for students who value a flexible and self-paced learning environment; it is conducted entirely through pre-recorded video lectures, with direct support from Dr. Tang via email.

4. USAPhO 2nd round Exam Preparation (Online class, full, enrollment is closed)

Runs from late May 2025 – March 2026

Prerequisites: AP Physics C Mechanics & AP Physics C E&M

This class prepares students for the USAPhO Exam, the second round of the USA Physics Olympiad, in April 2026. Students who are US Physics Olympiad semi finalists or close to be semi finalists this year in 2025, and have learned or are learning AP Physics C are encouraged to apply. Students with AP Physics 1 and Calculus BC who would like to learn Thermodynamics, Optics, and Modern Physics may also join early parts of the class. Current students in Dr. Tang's AP Physics C E&M class are qualified to join the class.
